Key Responsibilities:
- Write, produce, edit, and publish multiple stories each day to meet editorial deadlines.
- Quickly and accurately respond to breaking news events and maintain live blogs as required.
- Monitor various sources for emerging stories and trends to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Role Expectations:
- Pitch original stories, exclusives, and interviews to enhance Newsweek's content offerings.
- Collaborate effectively with the US News Editor and wider editorial team on projects and coverage plans.
- Ensure all content aligns with Newsweek's standards for accuracy, fairness, and journalistic integrity.
Work Arrangement:
- This is a full-time role requiring work five days per week on a rota basis, including regular weekend days.
- You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK or from the office in Canary Wharf, London, offering flexible location options.
