Dosimetrist

Responsible for designing a treatment plan and carrying out dose calculations based on the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed course of radiotherapy or brachytherapy. The role involves data recording and management related to patient radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment. This position also includes assisting the Radiation Therapists in the simulation and setup verification of treatment delivery. Another responsibility is to assist the Medical Physicists in the quality management practices for ensuring appropriate patient treatment, as well as the appropriate use of computer hardware, software, and other equipment.
