Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct participatory action research with partner organizations to co-create educational materials and training resources.
- Manage inter-organizational partnerships, ensuring collaborative alignment and iterative improvement of AI Civics outputs.
- Produce and publish case studies, templates, reports, and academic work, representing D&S in public forums.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent with expertise in K-12 education, labor, faith, or advocacy sectors.
- 7-10 years experience in research environments, including graduate work, with proven ability to publish.
- Strong qualitative research skills and experience with participatory methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in information science, education, social sciences, or related field.
- Established relationships with relevant organizations in K-12, labor, or advocacy.
- Experience in nonprofit, labor, or public interest technology contexts.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary range of $78,000 to $97,000, commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
- Fully remote position within the US, with occasional onsite meetings in NYC.
