As a Systems Engineer, you will lead the integration of sensors, hardware, and embedded software for a forward-deployed trauma management system. You’ll build resilient, real-world software that interacts with medical devices and networking hardware under harsh conditions, and deploy it where it matters most: in the field.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing embedded software and integrations for medical sensors and field devices, developing networking and serial communication pathways for hardware-to-software interfaces, traveling to test sites and field deployments to validate and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions, and collaborating with full-stack, hardware, and clinical partners to ensure integrated system performance. You will also contribute to rugged, production-ready software that operates in degraded or intermittent environments.
