Senior 3D Vision Engineer for Aerial Robotics

Role and Responsibilities:

• Have broad ownership over core functionalities of Fiducial Scout, including collision avoidance and target acquisition, while driving the short-to-medium-term development roadmap.
• Take on Tech Lead responsibilities for specific projects, coordinating implementation efforts and ensuring technical delivery within a flat organizational structure.
• Develop software in the field with regular flight testing, integrating solutions under real-world constraints and debugging in flight-test conditions.

Technical Expectations:

• Demonstrate expertise in modern C++, real-time software development, and 3D reconstruction concepts like bundle adjustment and visual odometry.
• Utilize GPU programming with CUDA or OpenGL and maintain timestamp integrity across sensors in an onboard pipeline.
• Apply experience with 3D Gaussian Splatting, camera calibration, and transform trees, with a plus for UAV integration and awareness of current 3D vision literature.
