Job Description
The Ad Council is seeking an Assistant Manager for Marketing & Communications to develop and implement PR/social media programs, manage external agencies and freelancers, and extend the reach of social good initiatives. Assist in brainstorming, drafting plans, and project managing tactics. Update campaign managers on public relations and social media activities. Draft press releases, talking points, speeches, blog posts, and social media posts. Collaborate with the website content team, manage social media content, and support the editorial calendar. Must be a team player with strong computer skills and a passion for social good. Travels occasionally (5%) to support in-person campaign launches, thought leadership opportunities, content shoots, and team time/events.
