Backend Engineer - Platform Data

About the Role:

• Responsible for the pipelines, search, and identity systems.
• Build and operate systems that define standards for data processing, storage, access across 10+ products.
• Shape patterns for enterprise-grade performance, scalability, reliability, quality, and security.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and evolve core platform infrastructure and shared services.
• Lead mission-critical projects to build and scale foundational capabilities.
• Partner with security and Mission stakeholders to help define and enforce standards for access, data protection, and system integrity.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building core product infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong system design skills with thoughtful tradeoffs around performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and systems.
