Trialing Specialist Technician

Role Details:

• This is an annual contract position running from March 1st to November 30th.
• The optimal support location is Fort Wayne, IN, but the role can also be supported remotely from Central-Northern Indiana, Northwest Ohio, or Central-Southern Michigan.

Accountabilities:

• Plan, communicate, package, plant, take notes, and harvest for corn and soybean yield trials to provide the highest quality field trial data.
• Lead projects with impact across stations and provide guidance, training, and support to other team members.
• Provide input to the development of new process protocols and standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in an agriculture-related discipline or relevant experience is preferred.
• Experience with precision agriculture equipment and software systems and knowledge of corn and soy crops.
• Must have an active driver's license, ability to acquire a medical DOT card and commercial pesticide applicator's license, and be located in the US without need for visa sponsorship.
