Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain analytical data models using dbt and Databricks, including Gold-layer and semantic models.
- Partner with business teams to translate concepts into governed analytical models.
- Apply software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
- Advanced SQL and production dbt experience; strong Databricks and Delta Lake expertise.
- Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
Ideal Profile:
- Comfortable operating between analytics, software engineering, and data architecture.
- Skilled at designing enterprise semantic models, writing dbt transformations, debugging Python, and optimizing Databricks workloads.
- Able to translate ambiguous business requirements into durable technical solutions.
