Engineering Manager, Mobile Platform

About the Role:

• Responsible for the core, foundational Android platform that underpins the entire driver experience.
• Architecting and maintaining our mobile SDKs, our App Management system, the platform logic that manages secure vehicle-to-tablet connectivity, Mobile Device Management (MDM) capabilities, and more
• Directly enable a safe, stable, and distraction-free driving interface for thousands of drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Management and other engineering teams to define the long-term technical roadmap for the Driver Framework platform, balancing new feature development with technical debt reduction
• Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
• Own delivery of highly reliable, mission-critical software used by thousands of drivers daily

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience managing mobile engineering teams
• 5+ years of experience as an Android software engineer, with a deep understanding of the Android OS, its application lifecycle, and performance optimization
• Experience building and scaling large-scale mobile applications or core platform components
