Director, Internal Communications

Build and scale the internal communications function:

• Define and stand up Oura’s internal communications strategy, frameworks, and governance.
• Run high‑impact companywide forums.
• Build and continuously improve internal comms processes, templates, and review workflows.

Partner deeply with People/HR and leadership:

• Serve as a strategic partner to the People/HR team on organizational changes, programs, and initiatives.
• Work closely with the Executive Team and senior leaders to shape internal narratives.
• Lead internal communication plans for major organizational shifts.

Uplevel channels, content, and ways of working:

• Audit and optimize existing channels to reduce noise, increase signal.
• Develop and maintain an internal “source of truth” for company priorities, OKRs, and key updates.
• Create clear, accessible content that help teams cascade information consistently.

Enable managers and culture carriers:

• Equip people managers and local leaders with the tools and guidance they need to communicate effectively.
• Build manager‑friendly toolkits for major launches, announcements, and behavioral expectations.
