Aquia is hiring multiple Software Engineers to support an initiative for the State of Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, testable and scalable code; primarily in Ruby. What you'll do: Develop high-quality, testable and scalable web applications Collaborate with designers to deliver functional and efficient user interfaces Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance Analyze, maintain and extend existing features Develop unit, integration and end-to-end tests Discover and fix bugs Participate in code reviews Follow best practice guidelines for maintainability and style.
