Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage indirect and state income tax compliance, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Oversee property tax filings and state income tax returns, including apportionment methodologies.
  • Review responses to tax agency notices and audits.

Tax Strategy and Collaboration:

  • Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide guidance on tax implications of transactions and new initiatives.
  • Lead forecasting of indirect tax liabilities to support cash flow planning.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect/multi-state tax.
  • Certified Public Accountant licensure and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Applies knowledge of tax regimes, interprets complex codes, and articulates positions to stakeholders.
