Process Engineer

About the Role:

• The Process Engineer will bridge the gap between the Formulation team and contract manufacturers, ensuring successful scale-up from bench to commercial production.
• This role requires deep understanding of each product's ingredients, specifications, and performance claims, translating them into practical manufacturing guidance.
• You will work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer and cross-functional teams to align stakeholders around balanced decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Formulation team to understand formulas and identify levers to improve manufacturability without compromising quality.
• Evaluate equipment capabilities and limitations of contract manufacturers, and assess excipients and processing aids.
• Support troubleshooting during scale-up, validation, and commercial production, and collaborate with Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Contract Manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field preferred.
• Experience as a Process Engineer with powder and liquid formulations in household cleaning or personal care.
• Strong understanding of scale-up, manufacturing processes, and ability to balance product claims, quality, and cost.
