Job Description
Joining a cross-functional product squad, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, and other disciplines to develop features enhancing users' financial health. This involves providing technical insight into upcoming work, leading delivery, mentoring colleagues, and working on the Ruby on Rails monolith, building data models, APIs, and business logic services. Using agile methodologies and tools like tests, observability, AB-tests, and feature flags, your work includes analyzing data to identify problems and generate new ideas.
You'll optionally join the compensated out-of-hours on-call rotation, contributing to cross-cutting concerns that improve engineering efforts. Participate in product ideation, user research, design reviews, and retrospectives, shaping your squad's work beyond technical aspects, working within a Ruby on Rails monolith with a React Native frontend and using Python for machine learning services and PostgreSQL for the database, all hosted on AWS.
