Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support our Client's infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a staff augmentation model. This role requires hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure setup and management in Azure. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining deployment automation, environment reliability, and infrastructure health across several hosted applications and environments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain and optimize Azure Pipelines for build and release processes and manage Azure Repos, branching strategies, pull request processes, and pipeline integrations. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Support IaC implementations using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform as appropriate and manage configuration and environment provisioning across Client's Azure tenant. Environment Oversight: Support infrastructure for the following environments: Dev, Stage, QA, Prod, and DR. Monitor scaling, instance performance, and storage configurations and ensure WAF and backup configurations are validated and restored when needed. Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and tune monitoring for system metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) and raise tickets or alerts for performance degradation. Patch Management & Deployments: Apply OS-level and container updates and coordinate application deployment packages from Client. Documentation & Communication: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and diagrams and work collaboratively with Client's technical leadership and internal teams.
