Frontend Engineering Lead

As a Frontend Engineering Lead, you will make significant contributions to Wormhole’s ecosystem of open source smart contracts and protocols. Reporting to our Head of Product, you will own the architecture, development, and evolution of our frontend systems. You’ll be responsible for leading a team that delivers intuitive, performant, and secure interfaces across our suite of products. The lead will lead the frontend engineering strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and top-tier user experience. They will architect and maintain complex interfaces that interact with blockchain networks, APIs, and smart contracts. They will also collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define technical direction and priorities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 2+ years in a lead or senior engineering role and deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks. Strong understanding of state management, component architecture, and modern build systems is important. Experience integrating with Web3 technologies is also important
