Job Description

The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is a global group of young leaders who advise GFC and elevate the voices of youth within the organization’s work. The Council fosters mutual learning and knowledge-sharing, contributing energy, insight, and creativity across GFC’s areas of work. Members meet bi-monthly and quarterly with senior leadership, committing an average of 5 hours per month. Engagement areas include Ambassadors, DEIA champions, and local/regional advocates. Applicants should have experience in youth movements, volunteering, or advocacy, and a commitment to GFC’s priority areas. We welcome applicants with diverse lived experiences and identities. This is a volunteer role, with financial support provided to help cover participation costs and other forms of recognition agreed upon with GFC. Selected candidates will begin their term in August 2025.
