System Architecture
Role Overview:
- As a Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team developing the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
- You'll collaborate with customers and mission partners to translate requirements into robust designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases.
- Coordinate with developers and integration teams to ensure mission needs are met.
- Apply MBSE methodologies and tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with ground system design, satellite communications, and tracking mission design.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, MATLAB, and cloud-based microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of simulation tools like STK is a plus.
