Senior Data Engineer

About the role:

• Emphasis on backend systems for data infrastructure: event-driven pipelines, data modeling, and APIs.
• Distinct from frontend development; focus on scientific and clinical data use.
• Fully remote within the US, with optional hubs in Boston, New York, and Paris.

What success looks like:

• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to design scalable integrations.
• Implement features with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Draft RFCs for complex feature design and solicit team input.

What you will bring:

• 5+ years backend experience including 2+ in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL production experience.
• Hands-on with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud equivalents.
• Proficiency in Julia, Python, or R.
• Experience with Kubernetes and IaC (Terraform/Helm).
