Principal Data Engineer – ML Platforms

This role involves ML Platform Engineering with a modern lakehouse architecture. Responsibilities include Applied ML enablement for risk scoring and forecasting. It also includes NLP/Generative AI support with RAG and vectorization.

Platform Architecture & Delivery: Design and operate cloud-agnostic lakehouse architecture using object storage, SQL/ELT engines, and dbt. Engineering: Build CI/CD pipelines for data, dbt, and model delivery. Solutions are engineered in AWS and AWS GovCloud with portability to Azure Gov or GCP.

Data Quality, Reliability & Cost Management: Define SLOs and alerting, instrument lineage & metadata. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, IRB/DUA constraints, and NIST AI RMF standards. Enforce privacy-by-design and tokenization.
