This role involves:
Responsibilities:
- Owning the architecture and implementation of core backend services, APIs, data systems, and infrastructure.
- Making pragmatic architectural choices, evaluating tradeoffs, and setting technical direction.
- Writing code, reviewing PRs, debugging issues, and delivering features hands-on.
Qualifications:
- Strong Python and SQL skills within a Python (AWS Lambda) + Postgres stack.
- Experience building things from scratch at an early-stage company.
- Comfort wearing many hats, jumping into different areas as needed, and thriving without rigid role boundaries.
