Responsibilities:
- Develop production processes for new product commercialization and create Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs).
- Optimize processes, establish operational limits, and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for control.
- Process unit cavity molds and lead moderate to complex problem-solving activities with technically sound solutions.
Core Proficiencies:
- Expert knowledge of blow molding resins and processing skills for monolayer and multilayer bottles.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills for blow molding equipment and understanding of multiple EBM platforms.
- Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, statistical process control, and effective written and verbal communication.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering (Plastics or Mechanical preferred) or 15 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with extrusion blow molders (e.g., CE, Graham Wheel, Techne, Uniloy) and mold making/repair.
- This role involves 75% travel and reports to the Global Technical Center in York, PA, but can be performed remotely.
