Job Description
Project Planning:
- Lead planning and coordination of climate–health activities with PATH and AIIB.
- Develop a detailed work plan aligned with VERDES objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate across tasks, partners, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Early Warning System Design:
- Lead the design of an integrated climate–health EWS for extreme heat and air pollution in Brazil.
- Engage relevant government institutions (health, meteorology, environment, disaster management).
- Support the development of an EWS blueprint, including institutional roles, data flows, and alert thresholds.
Risk Communication Strategy:
- Support development of a climate–health risk communication strategy.
- Define key messages, target audiences, communication channels, and dissemination protocols.
- Support the development of a risk communication toolkit for use during extreme weather.
