Assistant Director, Data Science

Responsibilities:

• Apply sophisticated analytics techniques to manipulate large structured and unstructured data sets to generate business insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning to solve complex problems in the insurance claims domain.
• Participate in cross-functional working groups and contribute to the broader data science community to promote best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Broad conceptual understanding and practical knowledge of the end-to-end data science lifecycle.
• Exceptional hands-on technical skills in SQL, Python, and Statistical Inference.
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to design solutions and bring them to market.

Qualifications:

• Competencies typically acquired through an advanced degree in a scientific field and several years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to establish relationships and give effective training and presentations to peers and management.
