Provides, builds and maintains data solutions to meet the needs of our business partners and ensures these solutions can be scaled appropriately.
Independently works on highly complex assignments and prototyping/developing data solutions that meet the needs of the organization and business customers.
Designs proof-of-concept solutions utilizing and advanced understanding of multiple coding languages to meet technical and business requirements.
Determines coverage, investigates claims, determines liability, sets and adjusts reserves, evaluates claims, negotiates settlements, authorizes and pays claims.
Reviews lawsuit documentation and supporting documents, claims files, investigation, etc. to establish actions to resolve lawsuits, including determining coverage and setting reserves.
Responsible for managing outside counsel, ensuring financial processing security, training staff, and maintaining relationships with business partners.
Investigates new claims by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials.
Establishes action plans based on case facts, best practices, protocols, jurisdictional issues and available resources.
Manages an inventory of property/casualty and disability claims, evaluates compensability/liability and losses, and negotiates settlements within prescribed limits.
