Responsibilities:
- Ensure databases function as designed and provide a stable environment.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain appropriate databases and structures.
- Support OLAP and OLTP database environments, ETL and EAI processes, and Business Intelligence tools.
Database Performance:
- Monitor and measure database servers for system performance and recommend changes.
- Analyze and improve existing SQL code and provide scheduled reports.
Infrastructure Enhancements:
- Define and implement infrastructure enhancements to improve processing and utilization.
- Conduct research on new technologies and architectures to recommend innovative solutions.
Standards and Documentation:
- Collaborate to establish database and architecture standards.
- Maintain documentation defining access, architecture, and maintenance procedures.
