Seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong focus on back-end development and data to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex datasets, building scalable data pipelines, and developing APIs that support data-driven applications. This role emphasizes proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.

Conducts high level systems analysis and implementation of high performing software solutions that are efficient and cost effective, and which support Wellmark’s business and Technology applications. Leads system development and guides the team in the design, development, code testing and debugging necessary to ensure successful completion.

Participate in research activities to identify customer and stakeholder needs. Integrate the research output with key decisions throughout the organization. Conduct generative and evaluative research, analysis & synthesis, persona development, and measurement to create products and experiences that align to both business and member needs.

The UX Researcher will drive research activities, deriving insights, generating concepts and working with developers and product managers to build and test these concepts. They will also conduct user research, analysis & synthesis, persona development, interaction design, and usability testing to create products that align to overall business needs.

Provide UM services, transition of care and support to members and health care providers. Utilize clinical knowledge and expertise to interpret and appropriately apply medical policy, medical necessity criteria (InterQual), and benefit information to provide consultation and responses to UM requests. Proactively assess and assist members to help move them through the continuum of care.
