Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#/Azure)

Overview:

• OnTrac is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a large wholesale digital-marketplace customer.
• The customer is rebuilding its digital auction platform and decoupling it from a legacy auction management system.
• Phase 1 delivers core platform features including inventory management, financial transactions, and customer management.

Engagement:

• This is a fully remote contract role based in the United States.
• The expected start is ASAP.
• The initiative is broad in scope and spans four or more teams.

Responsibilities:

• Implement core features for the new platform, collaborate with teams, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write production C# on .NET Core and design efficient data models and database interactions.
• Integrate with existing platforms and third-party systems, conduct code reviews, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications:

• Seven or more years of C# development experience with strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Extensive experience with .NET Core, Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with React, database systems, and AI-assisted development tools.
