SQL Developer / Data Analyst

VetsEZ is seeking a remote SQL Developer / Data Analyst to support a federal healthcare program with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves data analysis, report development, and support for ongoing data migration, integration, and quality monitoring efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development skills and hands-on experience working with clinical and operational datasets to support EHR modernization and reporting initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing SQL queries, analyzing data from multiple systems, collaborating with developers, supporting data model refinement, creating data quality monitoring routines, documenting findings, assisting with technical documentation, supporting reporting deliverables, and participating in stakeholder meetings. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, 5+ years of SQL development experience, experience analyzing healthcare data, a strong understanding of data structures, and experience with data visualization tools.
