Job Description
The Financial Planning & Operations Specialist will guide financial insight and planning by leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and translating numbers into simple narratives that inform strategy. You will prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports. They will maintain and improve financial and operational tools (Xero, Harvest, Airtable, Google Workspace, Asana) and spot opportunities to automate or simplify. Partner with engagement managers and practice area directors to monitor budgets, burn rates, compensation, and staffing models, identify risks early, and offering course corrections. You will manage payroll, accounting, contract, and expense tracking and maintain robust internal controls. Streamline recurring workflows like payroll, invoicing, and contracting and document and evolve systems as Bloom scales.
