Mechanical Design Engineer

In Advanced Mechanical Design, they create and test innovative solutions for the future of the business. As part of GE Aerospace's RISE program, this role develops mechanical designs for assigned hardware that satisfy program and internal design requirements, specifically in the context of the Open Fan low-pressure turbine technology maturation and engine demonstration efforts (ground and flight test). One will also collaborate with global and diverse teams from multiple disciplines, including thermal design, aero design, and systems design, and communicate design risks to stakeholders to facilitate collective decision-making.
