Staff Security Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the company's first security program, defining the roadmap across cloud, application, and compliance.
• Partner closely with legal, product, engineering, IT, and operations to embed security into business processes.
• Own vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and security tool implementation.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years in security engineering, cloud security, or DevSecOps with experience scaling a security function.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS/GCP, compliance frameworks like HIPAA and SOC 2, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to make practical risk decisions and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Interview Process:

• The process includes a recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, technical interview, and cross-functional interview.
• The company aims to complete interviews within 2-3 weeks, concluding with reference checks.
