Job Description

The Cyber Security Analyst will support proactive monitoring of client’s environments to detect, analyze, track, and mitigate external threats utilizing a multi-tenant security information and event management system (SIEM) and other tools used to provide managed security services. This role will support the IT and Security Managed Services teams and as well as being a point of contact for security matters. The role involves analyzing and reporting on security incidents, maintaining an understanding of security threats, and serving as an incident coordinator for urgent security events. The analyst will develop and maintain security tooling playbooks, review and optimize technical processes, and provide analysis on security enforcement technologies. Responsibilities include active research of current threats, working with associate analysts, and discussing security posture with clients, making recommendations to improve their overall security. The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Threat Analysis and Threat Intelligence, and at least 2 years' experience working in a SOC. This is a fully remote position and requires working overnight shifts.
