Expert Team Lead, SWE

About the Role:

• This is a hands-on leadership position focused on building and maintaining high-quality human-generated data for advanced AI model development.
• You will lead a team of AI Tutors, set quality standards, and drive operational improvements while staying directly involved in the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned data projects, personally reviewing technical work and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of AI Tutors, including reviews, improvement plans, and professional development.
• Collaborate with data managers and engineering stakeholders to translate model requirements into clear labeling strategies.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training, or a comparable operational discipline.
• People management experience and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical skills, familiarity with KPIs, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Expertise in at least one technical domain such as finance, STEM, or software engineering.
