Assistant Controller

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Accounting/Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the team. The ideal person for this role will have strong management, analytical, technology, communication, and organizational skills. Supervising accounts payable and general accounting departments. Own the month-end and year-end (end to end) close processes. Deliver consolidated financial statements. Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes. Managing all aspects of the general ledger. Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses. Researching accounting issues for compliance. Analyzing and reporting cost variances. Serving as a liaison to external auditors and various external professional service firms.
