Cybersecurity Research Assistant

Overview:

• Support AI research systems on on-premises Kubernetes clusters and shared high-performance computing infrastructure.
• Implement and monitor defined security controls and grow into security engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Implement assigned security controls across Kubernetes, Linux, database, and model-serving environments.
• Build monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and automation using Ansible and Python.
• Contribute to internal AI tooling, evidence collection, and security documentation.

Requirements:

• One to three years in IT, systems administration, or similar hands-on technical role.
• Comfort with Linux, Bash/Python scripting, and basic networking or containers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
