Job Description
As a Senior Geophysicist at Woolpert, provide technical expertise in marine geophysical surveys using a variety of industry-standard software and sensors. Lead and supervise survey system integration, data quality control, geophysical survey operations, troubleshooting, data processing, and analysis. Support the entire geophysical project life cycle, including proposal development, survey design, mobilization, survey acquisition, QA-QC, data processing, data interpretation, and reporting.
Lead and supervise hydrographic survey technicians in data acquisition and processing, with a focus on supporting team members’ technical growth and development. Provide technical and programmatic support to program and operations managers, participate in strategic planning, and strengthen the marine geophysical program at Woolpert by providing technical support.
