Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on the Data Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining robust, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure. This position is critical for ensuring our data infrastructure keeps pace with our analytical needs, especially as Human Interest scales to meet the demands of a rapidly growing company. You will contribute to improving our data foundation, and future-proofing our capabilities for advanced analytics and analytics self-service. You will build and optimize data models in dbt Core, design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and orchestration using Meltano, Snowpipe, and Airflow. You will manage and automate data infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and collaborate with Data Analysts and Software Engineers. The role involves proactive identification of improvements in data orchestration and implementing efficient testing within dbt to ensure data quality.
