Job Description
The Physician Compensation & Contracting Analyst provides contracting support services for Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) to include physician compensation design, benchmarking, financial analysis and recommendations. The Physician Compensation & Contracting Analyst serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders and collaborates with team members on ongoing evaluation and improvement of compensation models.
Essential Duties: Perform detailed financial modeling of physician compensation, including base, incentive, and productivity-based components (e.g., wRVU, quality, or call pay). Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing compensation structures to ensure competitiveness, sustainability, and alignment with organizational goals. Prepare compensation audits, investigate anomalies, and provide variance explanations to leadership. Utilize annual market benchmarking and external survey submissions to inform compensation decisions. Ensure provider employment agreements and compensation terms are accurate, timely, and compliant with approved structures. Support development, review, and maintenance of standardized contract templates and compensation models across specialties. Administer and maintain a comprehensive database of provider contracts, amendments, and compensation components. Compile supporting documentation for internal and external fair market value (FMV) reviews and collaborate with Legal and Compliance departments as needed. Document contracting and compensation actions for compliance and audit purposes, maintaining organized and accessible records.
