Data Platform Engineer (Metadata, DQ)

Project:

• Develop modern analytical solutions for a Media & Entertainment client.
• Real ownership of a critical data platform component using open-source tooling.
• Close collaboration with Data Engineering, Data Governance, AI, and Data Management teams.

Position:

• Implement, configure, and maintain Metadata Management and Data Quality environments.
• Automate metadata ingestion, data lineage, data quality monitoring, and reporting.
• Integrate with lakehouse, data warehouse, domain systems, and analytical tools.

Expectations:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer.
• Proven experience with Metadata Management tools (e.g., DataHub, Apache Atlas) and Data Quality tools (e.g., Great Expectations, Soda).
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS, plus CI/CD and GitHub skills.
