Job Description
Context:
- Assists clients in achieving compliance and efficiency by conducting power systems studies.
- Part of a global, tight-knit team of power systems engineers engaged in diverse projects.
- Provides technical assistance to Transmission Grid Operators (TSOs) and utilities.
Responsibility:
- Conduct complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solutions and training, conduct technical presentations to internal and external clients.
- Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed parameters, formats, and timelines, and review the work of other employees when necessary.
- Engage in technical developmental activities, including attending conferences and participating in industry presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or related field).
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in power system modeling and analysis for grid connections and transmission projects.
- Demonstrated experience in power system simulation software DigSILENT Power Factory, including automation with Python scripting.
