Security Engineer II, Firewall

At Cyderes, the focus of a Security Engineer is technologies and administration of those technologies. Security Engineers will demonstrate the capacity to consistently meet and exceed client expectations representing and reinforcing the Cyderes brand through positive interaction with other teams within the company. You will be a valued resource to our clients who are growing their security posture. You will play a crucial role in the development of the Firewall Engineering service and will be involved with the onboarding and configuration lifecycle, to ensure customers stay on top of emerging security threats. Responsible for executing highly technical changes, change windows, and client requests and ensuring the completion of tasks and updating tickets accordingly. This role utilizes tools and analytical skills to investigate root cause of issues across the technologies and to document the investigation and provide solution recommendations.
