Mining Inspection Technician

The Mining Technician and Inspector at Marmic Fire & Safety is responsible for the inspection, testing, servicing, and installation of fire safety equipment and systems in mining environments. This role requires adherence to applicable fire codes and mining regulations to ensure the safety and compliance of fire safety systems. The Mining Technician plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of fire protection systems to safeguard mining operations. Core responsibilities include performing comprehensive inspections and testing of fire safety equipment, installing and maintaining fire safety systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and mining regulations. The technician will also prepare detailed reports and communicate effectively with clients. The position requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of experience in fire safety systems, a strong understanding of NFPA codes, and excellent problem-solving skills.
