Senior Data Engineer (Data Fabric)

ELEKS is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to migrate a global tabular model from Azure Analysis Services to Microsoft Fabric. The role involves enhancing migration efficiency, connecting standard key reports to the new Fabric-based tabular model, and conducting performance testing of reports post-migration. The engineer will test and validate security models in the new environment and ensure the ability to further develop and expand the moved tabular model. Responsibilities include testing refresh speed and reliability for the tabular model in Fabric, integrating the global tabular model with an additional data source located in Fabric, and testing interconnectivity and data flow between the global tabular model and additional data sources. The selected candidate will document all implemented solutions, processes, findings, and conclusions.
