Integrate existing pre-trained (or fine tune) AI models, including NLP and LLMs, into the platform to extract relevant data from structured and unstructured sources (e.g., PDFs, clinical documents). Develop workflows to transform extracted data into structured formats that can be used within our clinical data platform (PostgreSQL). Work with third-party AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, AWS, Google) to ensure smooth and efficient integration of LLMs and other AI tools. Crafting and optimizing prompts for LLMs to ensure accurate and contextually relevant data extraction and transformation. Ensure that integrated models are optimized for performance, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and scalability to handle large datasets. Ensure that all AI integrations and data handling are compliant with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, while ensuring the security of sensitive patient data. Work closely with Application Engineers to integrate AI-driven data extraction into the platform’s backend and ensure proper data flow. Set up monitoring systems to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the AI-powered extraction processes, and troubleshoot any issues that arise in production.
