Epic Cogito Business Intelligence Developer III

The Business Intelligence Analyst III (Epic Cogito focus) will be a part of the enterprise analytics team focused on clinical reporting. This role will collaborate with both clinicians and operational leaders to identify meaningful KPIs and develop actionable reporting solutions. This position will largely focus on Epic Cogito clinical data model. This role will entail heavy customer facing duties communicating directly with the business on video calls/meetings/etc. as opposed to being a 'backend coder'. Responsibilities include all stages of the business intelligence development lifecycle: understanding the business objective, collecting business requirements and translating them into data requirements, designing and developing reports or dashboards, scheduling and deployment of business intelligence components in accordance with best practices, and completing accurate and timely documentation. The BI Developer will also monitor production systems for issues, develop advanced knowledge of system capabilities, and actively participate in meetings with department heads to prioritize needs. They will create reports to display Clarity and Caboodle data, write SQL, and test report builds in a specified testing environment. The ideal candidate will have the Epic Cogito certification.
