Job Description
Lead large-scale R&D projects from ideation through commercialization, managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional alignment. Drive innovation, renovation, and productivity initiatives to meet growth, quality, and margin objectives. Develop and oversee technical project plans, risk assessments, and commercialization readiness reviews. Lead formulation and prototype development for fresh and frozen products, ensuring nutritional, sensory, and manufacturability standards. Collaborate with nutritionists to translate concepts into AAFCO-compliant recipes optimized for processing and shelf-life stability.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to optimize production processes for yield, efficiency, and consistency. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and quality standards, including AAFCO, FDA, and HACCP. Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of scientists and developers to foster innovation and technical excellence.
