Pipe Superintendent

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the activities within his craft according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Coordinating with subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction. Make sure all OSHA guidelines are followed. Work with vendors hand-in-hand to ensure the work meets all specs. Manage a team of workers, including work schedule, project progress and resource allocation. Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project cost. Collaborate with clients, Project Management, other construction management to determine  Budget and timeline. Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with venders and suppliers.  Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.  Maintain a daily log for the job sites operation, reporting to management as necessary. Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.  Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
