Job Description
The Logistics Engineer is responsible for optimizing the delivery of Deployable Communications Services. This involves leading a team to ensure efficient and timely delivery according to the service plan and customer schedules. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, coordinating program property delivery, and updating logistics systems.
Property management and Cycle Counting: Control and maintain GOVCIO and Government property in accordance with regulations. Maintain inventory integrity through systematic cycle counting, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
Equipment handling: Receive Deployable Communication equipment and ensure its consistent quality and safety. Prepare documentation to control parts and equipment and monitor loading/unloading, reporting any issues.
